Positivity & Relaxation Training
Relaxation > Stress
It is estimated that 60-90% of all doctor visits are for stress related conditions. Positivity & Relaxation Training was developed by the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine to teach participants to manage stress by increasing resiliency through daily routine. PART employs Mind-Body Techniques, Positive Psychology, and Resiliency Training to promote stress management, physiological relaxation, and adaptive attitudes. The net effect is less stress.

“This course was a great way to learn about the relaxation response and how to elicit it in times of stress. Learning in a group atmosphere was also beneficial, as more ideas were discussed. The presenter was energetic and engaging which made thecourse even better.”
Amy, NBC-HWC
“The positivity and relaxation training program was incredible. We live in a society that promotes production and doing so much and we often forget or dismiss relaxation. Relaxation is CRUCIAL for regulating your nervous system and being able to cope with daily life stressors easier. The more you are able to relax the more present and capable you will feel in your life. And learning ways to become more positive? Who doesn't need that. These skills and practices are things I am going to take in my personal life and share with clients professionally.”
Participants in this program will gain the following:
Stress Management for Peak Performance
Activate the Body’s Natural Physiological Relaxation Response
Improved Sleep Hygiene
Adaptive Attitudes
Increased Creativity and Problem Solving
Decreased Physiological Effects of Stress
